signal shed

(construction w/ morrow and sons construction, inc.)

The Signal Shed is an adventure outpost located walking distance from Eastern Oregon’s Eagle Cap Wilderness Preserve and Wallowa Lake. It is informed by views of the lake and its namesake mountain. Now called Mount Howard, Signal Mountain's original name referred to its past use as a summer-time smoke signal point for the Nez Perce tribe. Operable rain screen and cedar panel shutters secure openings on the four building elevations for extended off-season storage.
